Crypto commentator @0xPolygon said Polygon Chain had processed more transactions than the global population, describing a scale of network activity without giving a total or measurement period.
The statement does not show how quickly the transactions accumulated. Polygon is a layer-2 network designed to speed transactions and reduce costs on Ethereum.
A separate measure shows Polygon Chain processed more than $3 trillion in stablecoin transfers since September 2020, including $741 billion from the start of 2026 through Sept. 29. The transfer totals provide context for network activity, but they do not supply the transaction count behind @0xPolygon’s claim. See stablecoin transfer activity.
