When Do Black Friday Hardware Wallet Deals Start?
Black Friday falls on Friday, November 27, 2026. Hardware wallet manufacturers and authorized retailers may introduce promotions in the days or weeks leading up to the event, although exact launch dates and discounts vary. As of October 31, we haven’t confirmed official Black Friday discounts across all the wallets below. Treat the listed prices as reference prices, not advertised sale prices, and check each manufacturer’s store for updated offers.
How We Evaluated These Hardware Wallets
A hardware wallet is a long-term security buy, so a low sale price shouldn’t be the only deciding factor. Our evaluation considered:
- Security architecture: We examined secure element certifications, PIN protection, passphrase support, transaction verification, firmware transparency, and backup options.
- Transaction signing: We compared USB, Bluetooth, near field communication (NFC), and QR-based signing to understand how each device connects to a phone or computer.
- Asset compatibility: We considered supported blockchains, cryptocurrencies, tokens, and compatibility with third-party wallet applications.
- Ease of use: We looked at screens, physical controls, mobile app requirements, setup processes, and how easily users can review transactions.
- Portability and build quality: We considered device size, battery requirements, materials, durability, and everyday convenience.
The Best Black Friday Hardware Wallet Deals in 2026
The crypto wallets below cover several approaches to self-custody. Some prioritize a familiar screen-and-button experience, while others use NFC cards, wearable designs, or air-gapped transaction signing.
1. Ledger Nano Gen5
Ledger Nano Gen5
Overview
- 2.8-inch secure screen for clear transaction review
- EAL6+ Secure Element protects crypto assets & identity
- Recovery Key included for easier account recovery
Secure your crypto with confidence
Ledger Nano Gen5 is worth watching if you want a modern hardware wallet with a touchscreen and broad cryptocurrency support. At $179 you get a 2.8-inch E Ink touchscreen, NFC, and an EAL6+ secure element, with the Ledger Recovery Key in the box. The device connects through Bluetooth 5.2 to compatible iOS and Android phones, while USB-C supports desktop and Android connections. It launched on October 23, 2025, so it wasn’t part of last year’s sale. From our perspective, Ledger will likely favor a Bitcoin voucher over a price cut, as it did on touchscreen models last time.
- EAL6+ certified Secure Element
- E Ink touchscreen for transaction verification
- Bluetooth and USB-C connectivity
- Supports 500+ assets through Ledger Wallet
- Not compatible with Chromebooks
- Some assets need third-party wallet applications
- The plastic body may feel less premium than metal alternatives
2. Trezor Safe 7

The Safe 7 is the wallet we’d hand users who prioritize hardware security and an advanced display. Its colored 2.5-inch touchscreen with haptics gives you a larger area to review transaction details, while the aluminum body and Gorilla Glass display provide a premium feel. Safe 7 thrives on security. Trezor combines two secure elements, including an auditable TROPIC01 chip plus an EAL6+ Optiga. Trezor calls it the first quantum-ready hardware wallet, meaning it can accept post-quantum firmware updates later. The device also supports encrypted Bluetooth connectivity, USB-C, and Qi2 wireless charging.
- Three-layer hardware security architecture
- Large color touchscreen with 2.5-inch
- Open-source design and firmware
- USB-C, wireless charging and Bluetooth
- Supports thousands of coins and tokens
- Larger than basic hardware wallets
- Premium features may be unnecessary for occasional users
- Needs careful review of individual asset compatibility
3. Tangem Ring

Tangem Ring stores your private keys in a secure chip inside a wearable ceramic ring, allowing you to access your crypto through an NFC-enabled smartphone. You don’t need to charge it or carry a traditional USB-connected device. The ring uses a CC EAL6+ certified secure element and has an IP69K rating for protection against dust and water. Tangem includes two backup cards with the ring, giving you additional ways to access your wallet if the wearable device is lost. Last year Tangem ran a stackable 30% offer (20% plus a 10% partner code), which would land the ring near $110. We see a possibility for similar offers for this year’s Black Friday deals.
- Battery-free NFC connectivity
- IP69K-rated ceramic construction
- Includes two backup cards
- 25-year warranty
- Needs a compatible NFC smartphone
- Less convenient for users who prefer desktop-based management
4. Ledger Flex
Ledger Flex
Overview
- 2.8-inch Gorilla Glass display for clear transaction review
- EAL6+ Secure Element protects your private keys
- Bluetooth & NFC connectivity with up to 10-hour battery life
Secure your crypto on the go
The Flex is Ledger’s everyday touchscreen signer. Its 2.84-inch E Ink display is far easier to read than the Nano X’s thumbnail screen, and USB-C, Bluetooth 5.2 and NFC cover phones and laptops alike. An aluminum frame with Gorilla Glass and a free Recovery Key come standard at $249. The catch is the discount style. Last year the Flex earned $70 in Bitcoin, and a Monopoly-edition bundle carried a voucher worth up to $500, but neither lowered the sticker price.
- Large 2.8-inch E Ink touchscreen
- Bluetooth and USB-C connectivity
- Works with Ledger Wallet and compatible third-party apps
- Compact enough for everyday portability
- More expensive than basic Nano models
- Not every crypto feature is available through Ledger Wallet
5. SafePal X1
SafePal X1
Overview
- Physical keypad for easy transaction signing
- EAL6+ Secure Element protects private keys
- Supports 200+ blockchains with passphrase protection
Secure your crypto with confidence
The SafePal X1 is our budget Bluetooth pick. At $69.99 it swaps the S1’s QR camera for Bluetooth 5.0 and a 12-key keypad, so entering a PIN feels like using a calculator. It supports 200-plus networks, and its firmware is open source, though builds aren’t reproducible. The X1 uses Bluetooth 5.0 for signing transactions and connects to the SafePal mobile app. It also includes a secure element, a true random number generator, PIN and passphrase protection, and an anti-tampering self-destruct mechanism. The trade-off is the air gap, which Bluetooth gives up. SafePal ran a storewide 15% sale last year, which would put the X1 near $59.
- Supports 200+ blockchains and unlimited tokens
- Bluetooth 5.0 transaction signing
- Physical buttons and a 1.8-inch display
- PIN and passphrase protection
- Monochrome screens are less detailed than color displays
- Bluetooth connectivity may not suit users who prefer air-gapped signing
6. Tangem Wallet

Tangem Wallet is a practical choice for people who want simple, portable crypto storage without carrying a conventional hardware device. It comes as a set of NFC-enabled cards that communicate with the Tangem mobile app. A two-card pack costs $54.90 and a three-card pack $69.90, and each card carries an EAL6+ chip with no seed phrase to write down. You tap a card to your phone over NFC, and the extra cards are your recovery. Last year’s stackable 30% offer would take the two-card set to about $38. There’s no screen, so you trust the phone app to show what you’re signing.
- Battery-free NFC design
- Supports 14,000+ tokens across 90+ networks
- Optional seed phrase generation and import
- No built-in display for transaction review
- Mobile app is central to wallet management
7. Ledger Nano X
Ledger Nano X
Overview
- Compact 1.1-inch screen in a portable design
- EAL5+ Secure Element protects your private keys
- Bluetooth connectivity + up to 5-hour battery life
Secure crypto wherever you go
The Nano X is the one to watch. Last year Ledger cut it by 50% in every color, which would drop the $149 list price to about $75. It’s the older design, with an EAL5+ secure element, a small OLED screen, two buttons, Bluetooth and a built-in battery. The Gen5 beats it on screen and chip for $30 more, so the Nano X only makes sense at a deep discount. We’d buy it as a backup for a Flex or Gen5, or as a low-cost iPhone signer.
- CC EAL5+ Secure Element
- Compact design with built-in battery
- Broad third-party wallet compatibility
- Small monochrome display
- Older hardware design than newer Ledger models
8. Trezor Safe 5

The Safe 5 is the best-value touchscreen we looked at. A 1.54-inch color screen with haptic feedback, an EAL6+ Optiga chip, open-source firmware and Shamir multi-share backup fit into a 23-gram body. The biggest limitation is connectivity. It doesn’t offer built-in Bluetooth, and Trezor notes that sending, swapping, setup, and device management aren’t available through its iOS connection. It lists at $129 on Trezor’s site. Last year Trezor took 40% off Safe 3 and Safe 5 bundles, which would be about $77 at the $129 list. It’s USB-C only, so iPhone users need a different wallet.
- Color touchscreen with haptic feedback
- Open-source security design
- Advanced Multi-share Backup support
- USB-C connectivity only
- Limited iOS functionality
9. OneKey Pro 2

The OneKey Pro 2 launched on October 8, which makes it the newest device here and the one with the shortest track record. It’s 6.2mm thin and weighs 53 grams, with a 3.54-inch AMOLED display, four EAL6+ secure elements, fingerprint unlock, Bluetooth, NFC, USB-C and QR air-gapped signing. It’s also the first hardware wallet with an on-device portfolio view. The $299 price includes a SeedCard, a folio case and six months of OneKey Prime, valued together at $257. Last year OneKey’s sale ran up to 25% off bundles, but our guess is a three-week-old flagship won’t see a deep cut.
- Four EAL6+ secure elements
- 3.54-inch AMOLED touchscreen
- Air-gapped QR signing
- Supports 30,000+ coins and tokens
- Premium feature set may be unnecessary for basic users
- Some functions depend on future software updates
- Larger and heavier than card-style wallets
10. SafePal S1 Pro
SafePal S1 Pro
Overview
- 100% air-gapped signing keeps private keys offline
- EAL6+ Secure Element with self-destruct protection
- Supports 200+ blockchains with passphrase support
Advanced offline crypto security
The S1 Pro suits users who don’t trust wireless radios. It signs transactions by exchanging QR codes with your phone, so it never connects wirelessly. At $89.99 you get an aluminum alloy body, a tempered glass display, an EAL6+ secure element and a bigger battery than the $49.99 S1. The 1.3-inch color screen is small, and the firmware is mostly closed source, which matters if auditability is your priority. A repeat of last year’s 15% storewide sale would land it near $76.
- 100% air-gapped QR signing
- CC EAL6+ secure element
- Supports 200+ blockchains and thousands of crypto assets, NFTs, and tokens
- Aluminum alloy and tempered glass construction
- QR scanning can slow down frequent transactions
- Needs battery charging
- No Bluetooth or NFC connectivity
Best Hardware Wallet Black Friday Deals: Quick Comparison
Should You Wait for Cyber Monday?
Cyber Monday falls on November 30, 2026, three days after Black Friday. Some retailers may extend their promotions through the weekend, while others may introduce separate online discounts. We recommend comparing the final checkout price across both events if you’re not in a hurry to buy. Whatever you buy, order from the brand’s own store or an authorized reseller and initialize the wallet yourself. Never use a recovery phrase supplied with a device.
FAQs
Are hardware wallets safe?
Yes. Hardware wallets keep private keys isolated from internet-connected devices and need physical approval for transactions. They reduce exposure to online attacks, but they can’t prevent phishing, malicious transaction approvals, compromised recovery phrases, or physical coercion. Safe use still depends on how you manage your device and backups.
Which hardware wallet is best for beginners?
The best choice depends on how you prefer to manage crypto. Ledger Nano Gen5 and Trezor Safe 5 offer screens for reviewing transactions, while Tangem Wallet uses NFC cards and a mobile app for simpler access. As a beginner, prioritize clear setup instructions and reliable recovery options.
What’s the best hardware wallet for Bitcoin?
Trezor Safe 7 and Trezor Safe 5 are worth considering for Bitcoin holders who value open-source security and on-device transaction verification. Ledger devices also support Bitcoin through Ledger Wallet. Check whether you need Bitcoin-only firmware or support for additional cryptocurrencies before buying.
What’s the best hardware wallet for multiple cryptocurrencies?
Ledger, Trezor, Tangem, SafePal, and OneKey all support multiple cryptocurrencies. OneKey Pro 2 lists support for more than 30,000 coins and tokens, while Tangem supports more than 14,000 tokens across 90+ networks. Always verify support for your specific assets and networks.
Can a hardware wallet be hacked?
Yes, though no leading device has been compromised remotely in the wild. Most losses come from software vulnerabilities, supply-chain attacks, physical attacks, and social engineering (phishing). Set a strong PIN, consider a passphrase, and store backups offline.
