A team of volunteer engineers used artificial intelligence (AI) to flag more than 10,000 potential Bitcoin (BTC) vulnerabilities over two months, and researcher Talip said the results require independent validation.

Talip said some AI-generated findings may be false positives or may overstate a vulnerability’s severity. The total refers to potential vulnerabilities, not a confirmed count of exploitable flaws.

Some findings have been assessed, disclosed and fixed. Disclosure of other findings is continuing.
