Binance has issued another important update on the batch re-opening of withdrawal services for tokens previously listed on Binance after the recent $6 billion attack forced the exchange to suspend the feature.

While Binance has remained consistent with the reopening of withdrawals for crypto assets in batches since the attack, Hyperliquid has drawn different attention as it remains the only top 10 cryptocurrency by market capitalization that has not been re-enabled since the attack.

Binance sets deadline for HYPE withdrawals

Earlier today, Binance announced a deadline for the resumption of withdrawals for Hyperliquid (HYPE), Litecoin (LTC), and four other cryptocurrencies.

The announcement has come amid growing criticism from Hyperliquid holders who have remained affected by the delay in Hyperliquid's withdrawals on Binance.

Although Binance revealed that it is working to restore withdrawals for HYPE, LTC, Injective (INJ), Aptos (APT), Plasma (PLASMA), and NEAR Protocol (NEAR) by the end of next week, the criticism has grown even louder, with holders tagging Binance's co-founder Changpeng Zhao as unfair.

Despite Binance's appeal, the announcement has only triggered further backlash from the Hyperliquid community as they continue to question the reason behind the delay, since Binance has progressively restored withdrawals for dozens of other cryptocurrencies in the past week.

Is Binance delaying Hyperliquid's growth?

The growing criticism from the Hyperliquid community against Binance has given rise to several allegations against the exchange, with holders questioning the genuineness of the attack.

Notably, Hyperliquid holders have called on Binance to give clear explanations for excluding HYPE from earlier withdrawal restorations, arguing that there was no reason to keep the token locked since Hyperliquid was not affected by the attack.

Given Hyperliquid's growing adoption in the decentralized derivatives market, some critics have alleged that Binance is making intentional efforts to halt the asset's explosive growth.
