A Small Fall, the Lowest Close in a Month

The price fell about 0.3% on 6 November. Trading on Binance that day came to $1.30 billion, close to its 20-day average.

Last week's close, the last price of the week, was $78,354, the lowest since the week of 7 September.

Quartz, citing Bloomberg, reported that bitcoin fell as a chipmaker-led slump in technology equities spread into crypto. The report also pointed to an earlier Binance hack and fading retail investor interest.

Buyers on Binance futures paid close to the past week's average rate to keep their positions open, the highest rate in 90 days.

A Floor That Has Turned the Price Before

The floor at $76,782 sits right at the price now. It has turned the price 4 times since mid March 2025. Its last turn was on 15 September.

The floor is the nearest level to the price. The price is also about 40% below its highest on Binance, which shows how much of the past rise has been given back. That high was $126,200, set on 6 October 2025.

The $76,782 Floor and the $79,800 Ceiling

A daily close is the last price of the day. A ceiling is a price where rises have stopped before. One sits at $79,800, about 5% above the price.

A daily close above it would name $81,431, about 7% above, as the next level. A daily close below $76,782 would name $73,949, about 3% below, as the next level down.

The two levels sit either side of the price now. Two prices would settle the week, $79,800 above the price and $76,782 at it. Both are waiting on a daily close.
