Bitcoin (BTC) gained between 36.8% and 80.8% in the 12 months after U.S. midterm elections in 2014, 2018 and 2022, with returns varying by cycle.

The 12-month increase was 36.8% after the 2014 midterms, 45.8% after the 2018 vote and 80.8% after the 2022 election.

Those figures describe separate historical periods. They do not establish that election results caused Bitcoin’s performance.
