Coinbase has announced trading suspensions for five cryptocurrencies scheduled throughout November 2026, while also updating its supported token listings and expanding its derivatives offerings. According to the exchange’s latest announcements,  The changes affect Neon EVM (NEON), Syndicate (SYND), Stargate Finance (STG), Vulcan Forged (PYR), and Ampleforth Governance Token (FORTH).

The exchange's latest announcements also include a clarification involving the ticker symbol of a Solana-based cryptocurrency, the completion of a migration involving Aerodrome Finance and Velodrome Finance, and the launch of four new perpetual futures contracts on November 9.

Coinbase Sets November Trading Suspension Dates for Five Cryptocurrencies

Coinbase will suspend trading for Neon EVM (NEON) and Syndicate (SYND) on November 16, 2026, at 2 PM ET. The restrictions will cover Coinbase Simple Trade, Advanced Trade, Coinbase Exchange, and Coinbase Prime.

Two additional cryptocurrencies, Stargate Finance (STG) and Vulcan Forged (PYR), are scheduled to lose trading support on November 20 at 2 PM ET. Coinbase had initially planned an earlier suspension date for these assets before postponing the implementation.

The fifth cryptocurrency affected is Ampleforth Governance Token (FORTH), which will have its trading suspended on November 23 at 2 PM ET.

These decisions follow Coinbase's regular asset review process, through which the exchange evaluates whether supported cryptocurrencies continue to satisfy its listing standards.

Customers holding the affected assets should review the relevant deadlines and available account options before the trading restrictions take effect.

Coinbase Explains Why Solana Token Collector Crypt Uses CARD Ticker

Alongside the delisting announcements, Coinbase has clarified the ticker symbol used for Collector Crypt, a cryptocurrency operating on the Solana blockchain.

Although the token uses CARDS as its native symbol, Coinbase lists it under CARD to avoid duplication with another ticker on its platform.

Through supported Coinbase services, users can buy, sell, convert, send, receive, and store the CARD token.

The clarification distinguishes Coinbase's platform-specific ticker designation from the cryptocurrency's native symbol, helping users identify the correct asset when accessing supported services.

AERO and VELO Migration to New Aero Token Completed

Coinbase has also completed the migration involving Aerodrome Finance (AERO) and Velodrome Finance (VELO) into the new Aero token.

Following the migration, the exchange restored supported transfer services. However, Coinbase issued a warning against depositing legacy AERO tokens.

According to the exchange, deposits involving the older AERO token version may become unrecoverable because Coinbase no longer supports that version.

Users should therefore verify that their assets correspond to the supported token version before initiating deposits into Coinbase accounts.

Coinbase to Launch Four New Perpetual Futures Markets on November 9

Beyond changes to spot trading support, Coinbase is preparing to introduce four additional perpetual futures markets on November 9, 2026, at 10 AM UTC.

The new contracts will cover BMNR, WDC, RKLB, and AAOI, expanding the range of derivatives available through the exchange's trading services.

The contracts will be accessible to eligible retail and institutional traders through Coinbase, Coinbase Advanced, and Deribit.

However, availability will depend on regional restrictions and applicable trading requirements. Not all customers will necessarily have access to the new markets.

Coinbase's November Updates Reshape Trading Support Across Its Platforms

Coinbase's November announcements cover several areas of its trading ecosystem, including the removal of five cryptocurrencies, adjustments to token identification, completed asset migrations, and additional perpetual futures products.

For customers, the most immediate developments are the November 9 futures launch and the scheduled trading suspensions on November 16, November 20, and November 23.

Users holding affected cryptocurrencies or participating in the AERO migration should pay particular attention to the exchange's supported asset versions and applicable deadlines to avoid potential transfer or trading complications.
