Collector Crypt (CARDS) gained approximately 18% after South Korean cryptocurrency exchange Upbit opened trading for the token across three markets on November 5. The listing introduced KRW, BTC, and USDT trading pairs, giving CARDS access to a larger pool of traders.

CARDS traded around $0.292 following the listing. The token had briefly climbed to approximately $0.333 after a sharp intraday rally of around 30%, before giving back some of those gains.

Upbit Adds CARDS Trading Against Three Assets

Upbit began supporting CARDS trading at 4:30 PM Korea Standard Time on November 5. Users can now trade the token directly against the South Korean won (KRW), Bitcoin (BTC), and Tether (USDT).

The addition of a KRW market is particularly relevant because it provides South Korean traders with a direct fiat trading route. The BTC and USDT pairs also offer alternative trading options.

However, Upbit introduced temporary restrictions during the launch. Buy orders were restricted for approximately five minutes, while only limit orders were permitted during the initial two hours. The exchange also specified that CARDS deposits and withdrawals would be supported through the Solana network.

CARDS briefly reached $0.333 after rising more than 30% in a 15-minute period. Altcoin Buzz recorded the token around $0.2913, with a 14.18% gain over 24 hours at its November 5 snapshot.

What Is Collector Crypt?

Collector Crypt is a Solana-based marketplace focused on physical collectibles, including trading cards. The platform connects physical items with NFTs, allowing users to trade digital representations of collectibles without physically transferring the underlying items.

The physical collectibles are stored separately, while their corresponding NFTs can be traded through the platform. Users can also redeem eligible NFTs to receive the physical items.

The CARDS token supports activity within the ecosystem, including peer-to-peer transactions and rewards.

The project has also attracted attention in the broader altcoin market. CARDS featured among the tokens covered in Altcoin Buzz's recent roundup of trending cryptocurrencies.

Can the Upbit Listing Sustain CARDS' Rally?

The Upbit listing gives Collector Crypt greater exposure to South Korean traders and adds three new trading markets. This could support trading activity and improve access to the token.

However, a listing-driven price increase does not necessarily translate into sustained demand. CARDS' move toward $0.333, followed by a retreat toward $0.291, shows how quickly prices can change around exchange launches.

Traders will likely watch trading volume, liquidity, and whether CARDS can hold its post-listing gains over the coming sessions. The token's next move will depend on whether buying interest continues after the initial excitement surrounding the Upbit listing fades.

As with other newly listed assets, sharp price swings and changing liquidity conditions remain important risks.
