Cryptocurrency markets presented a mixed picture on Saturday morning, with the leading digital assets making modest gains while several altcoins faced notable selling pressure.
Bitcoin edged up 0.05% to $75,781.06, holding firmly above the psychologically significant $75,000 level, whilst Ethereum edged up 0.11% to $2,237.84. BNB also edged up, adding 0.06% to trade at $693.51, keeping the top three coins broadly in positive territory.
The mood soured further down the market cap rankings. Solana inched lower by 0.48% to $89.63, whilst XRP fell 1.49% to $1.16, marking one of the sharper declines of the session. Cardano fell 0.92% to $0.18 and Dogecoin fell 0.94% to $0.07, with both tokens surrendering nearly a full percentage point. Avalanche also fell, dropping 1.23% to $8.23.
The divergence between the relative stability of large-cap coins and the broader weakness among smaller tokens suggests cautious positioning across the market. With Bitcoin maintaining its footing above $75,000, attention will remain on whether the flagship cryptocurrency can sustain that level as Saturday's session develops.
