Democrats have won 102 of the 154 U.S. House races decided so far, including five flipped seats, giving crypto policy watchers an early measure of the balance of power in Washington. The results do not establish which party will control the chamber.

Republicans have won 52 of those seats. The House has 435 seats, and a party needs 218 for a majority. The tally therefore leaves 281 seats undecided. Democrats would need 116 more wins to reach a majority, while Republicans would need 166. Neither party has reached the threshold.

Democrats have spent four years in the House minority. If they secure enough seats, the outcome would shift the chamber's balance. For U.S. crypto policy, the House count is an early signal of which party may shape debates and oversight once all races are decided. The final House balance will depend on results from the remaining races.
