Ether (ETH) short positions worth $13.73 million were liquidated in the hour ending at 11:45 p.m. ET on Nov. 4, as ETH’s price rose 1.40% over the same period.
TokenPost’s tally combines public liquidation figures from Binance, Bybit and OKX. It recorded $13.76 million in total ETH liquidations, with $13.73 million on the short side and $30,000 on the long side. TokenPost collected and combined the figures directly; the tally covers those three exchanges only and is not a marketwide total.
ETH rose from $2,321 to $2,353 during the hour, a 1.40% gain. The price observations and liquidation amounts cover the same one-hour window, ending at 11:45 p.m. ET.
Ether is the asset associated with the Ethereum network and ranks as the second-largest crypto asset by market capitalization. The short liquidation amount was more than 450 times the long amount, showing the imbalance between liquidations on the two sides.
