Former FBI agent Patrick Yaroch agreed to plead guilty in a case involving about $1 million in cryptocurrency, with court approval still required when his Nov. 5 hearing was scheduled.

Yaroch had been scheduled for a plea-agreement hearing on Nov. 5. The agreement still required judicial approval when the hearing was scheduled.

Prosecutors said Yaroch used ChatGPT to plan a move to Portugal. They also said the cryptocurrency had not been used.
