Speaking on Scott Melker's YouTube program, Di Bartolomeo maintained his bullish long-term outlook on Bitcoin despite recent market developments, including the US midterm election results, a multi-billion-dollar cyberattack on Binance, and ongoing cryptocurrency regulatory uncertainty.

Why Di Bartolomeo Believes Bitcoin Could Reach $1 Million

Di Bartolomeo pointed to his experience growing up in Venezuela, where hyperinflation demonstrated how rapidly a national currency can lose its purchasing power. He noted that 14 zeros were removed from Venezuela's national currency during his lifetime, illustrating the potential consequences of prolonged monetary devaluation.

He believes similar dynamics could affect other fiat currencies, making nominal Bitcoin price increases less significant when measured against the purchasing power of money.

Explaining his $1 million Bitcoin outlook, Di Bartolomeo said: "People are saying Bitcoin could reach $1 million. It absolutely could. Because by then, the zeros might be removed from currencies. It could be $1 million in today’s money, but at that point, that amount might only correspond to $1,000 in a revalued currency."

His assessment highlights an important distinction between Bitcoin's nominal market price and its real value. A substantially higher BTC price would not necessarily translate into an equivalent improvement in purchasing power if fiat currencies experienced significant devaluation.

Ledn Co-Founder Identifies $75,000 as a Bitcoin Buying Zone

Beyond his long-term forecast, Di Bartolomeo discussed Bitcoin's recent price movements and the buying opportunities emerging during market corrections.

He said he had anticipated a potential decline toward $75,000 and wanted to purchase Bitcoin at that level. However, strong market demand prevented him from securing the buying opportunity he had expected.

Di Bartolomeo identified $75,000 as an important accumulation zone, while describing $70,000 as a more critical level for maintaining his bullish market outlook.

He also provided insight into activity within Ledn's lending business. According to Di Bartolomeo, the previous two months ranked among the strongest periods for net loan portfolio growth this year.

He added that Ledn clients generally showed a preference for accumulating Bitcoin rather than leaving the market, including during the Binance cyberattack and the US elections. The company did not observe significant fear in client behavior during those developments, according to his assessment.

US Elections and CLARITY Act Create Regulatory Uncertainty

Di Bartolomeo also addressed the potential implications of changes in the US political landscape for cryptocurrency regulation. He warned that shifting political dynamics could create uncertainty around the direction of digital asset legislation.

In particular, he expressed doubts about the prospects of the CLARITY Act passing in its current form, suggesting that the proposed legislation could face considerable difficulties.

However, he argued that Bitcoin should be assessed separately from other cryptocurrencies when considering regulatory developments. In his view, changes in the regulatory environment would not fundamentally alter Bitcoin's underlying characteristics.

Government Debt and Fiat Currency Devaluation Support Long-Term Bitcoin Outlook

Growing US budget deficits were another factor behind Di Bartolomeo's long-term Bitcoin outlook. He pointed to rising government spending and the potential erosion of fiat currency purchasing power as developments that could strengthen demand for Bitcoin over time.

His broader argument centers on Bitcoin's potential role as an asset amid concerns about the long-term value of traditional currencies. Rather than relying solely on short-term market movements, he believes monetary conditions could remain an important factor shaping Bitcoin demand.

While the $1 million target remains a forecast rather than a guaranteed outcome, Di Bartolomeo's comments underline his view that Bitcoin's future valuation should be considered alongside the purchasing power of the currencies used to measure it.
