Moscow Exchange plans to start digital-asset trading Dec. 1, offering Bitcoin (BTC), Ether (ETH) and USDT, with retail purchases limited to 300,000 rubles a year through a single broker.
Retail investors must pass a test to participate. Trading will use the exchange’s stock-market platform, and the National Clearing Center will handle clearing.
The service is set to begin with pilot trading, with participants joining gradually. The stated trading window converts to 10:50 p.m. ET the previous day (03:50 UTC) through 3:50 p.m. ET (20:50 UTC) on Dec. 1.
Moscow Exchange’s earlier plan for a Dec. 1 crypto-trading launch set the target date. The latest details add a retail purchase limit, a testing requirement and the planned trading and clearing setup.
