Pi Network Price Dips as Insider Offloads, Nears All-Time Low

Trading near an all-time low, Pi Network price dropped 0.78% to $0.0748, a modest drop amid a broader market sell-off, driven by risk-off sentiment spilling over from traditional markets and the latest insider offload.

The token moved in the same direction as Bitcoin (-3.11%) but showed relative resilience, indicating the move was more about beta than coin-specific news.

The move mirrored a broader crypto market decline, driven by a sharp sell-off in AI-related tech stocks and significant Bitcoin ETF outflows.

The entire crypto market cap fell 2.78% in 24 hours, with Bitcoin down more than 3%. A major sell-off in AI and technology stocks triggered this, with the Nasdaq Composite falling 5.5% on November 5 amid concerns over potential regulatory changes.

At the same time, U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs saw $430M in net outflows, reflecting institutional risk aversion. Traders confirmed that Pi’s price action largely reflected market-wide risk-off sentiment, not a unique failure. Bitcoin’s ability to hold $75,000 and a potential reversal in ETF flow data.

Social data highlighted a bearish catalyst: an insider, C. Sylebra, sold $16.7 million worth of PI tokens at an average price of $184.78 on November 4, disposing of 11.62% of their position. This sizable sale likely contributed to negative sentiment and selling pressure.

While not the primary market driver, the sale provided a coin-specific reason for underperformance and may have amplified the downward move.

The immediate trend is tied to broader market stabilisation. Pi faces near-term resistance at its 24h high of $0.0771. Key support to watch is the 24h low at $0.0738.

If this level holds, price may consolidate between $0.074 and $0.077. A break below could test the next support near $0.072. The upcoming Pi Ecosystem Summit (November 17–19) could boost sentiment.

The path of least resistance is sideways to slightly down until macro fear subsides or a positive Pi-specific development emerges. A daily close above $0.0771 would signal a short-term recovery attempt.

Pi’s minor decline reflects its sensitivity to a fearful macro environment rather than a fundamental breakdown. The key near-term driver remains whether Bitcoin and tech stocks can find a floor. Bitcoin Lost 6% Amidst Sharp Selloffs in US Tech, AI Stocks
