Stablecoin supply on @SuiNetwork has risen by about 18.1% over the past week to more than $500 million, with Circle's $USDC accounting for roughly 65% of the total. The jump marks one of the sharper short-term gains in stablecoin liquidity on the $SUI blockchain this year.
Data from DefiLlama shows the total stablecoin market capitalisation on Sui stood at $508.12 million as of Nov. 5, 2026, up 18.02% over seven days. $USDC dominance on the chain was 66.14% at that point, according to the same tracker.
$USDC Leads a Concentrated Stablecoin Mix
DefiLlama's breakdown lists $USDC at $336.08 million, making it by far the largest stablecoin on the network. It is followed by Sui Dollar (USDSUI) at $74.22 million, First Digital USD (FDUSD) at $43.48 million, Bucket Protocol's BUCK at $25.86 million and R25's rcUSD at $18.28 million. $USDC itself rose 7.40% over the past day, based on the same data.

Stablecoin market capitalisation measures the dollar value of stablecoins circulating on a network. Earlier readings show the figure has been climbing for some time. DefiLlama data cited by Altcoin Buzz put it at about $502.6 million on Oct. 19, 2026, while The Coin Republic reported a level near $482 million in late September.
The latest gain comes as Sui prepares to widen access to $USDC. Sui confirmed in a Nov. 5 announcement that $USDC transfers on its network will become available through Samsung Wallet to eligible US Galaxy users later in November, according to crypto.news. The feature relies on Sui's gasless stablecoin transfer infrastructure, which went live on mainnet in May 2026, meaning users can send $USDC without holding $SUI to cover fees.
Wider Context for Sui
Stablecoin growth has not been matched across all Sui metrics. DefiLlama showed total value locked in Sui DeFi at $460.84 million on Nov. 5, and the $SUI token was priced at $0.91 with a market capitalisation of about $3.75 billion on the same data. Sui's stablecoin base also remains small next to the largest blockchains, though it continues to grow.
Whether the weekly increase holds will depend on how much of the new supply reflects lasting demand for payments and settlement rather than short-term flows. The Samsung Wallet rollout may offer an early test of that.
