The real-world asset (RWA) sector is gaining momentum as traditional financial products move onto blockchain networks. The category's market capitalization increased 2.7% to approximately $75.5 billion, with institutional partnerships, tokenized investment products, and new exchange-traded opportunities supporting interest in the sector.
Three projects stand out: Ondo Finance (ONDO), which has become the largest tokenization platform by onchain asset value, Chainlink (LINK), which is expanding the infrastructure needed to support institutional tokenization and Injective (INJ), which gained 8.7% after Nasdaq approved the listing of Canary Capital's staked INJ ETF.
Here is what is driving attention toward these three RWA-related cryptocurrencies.
1. Ondo Finance (ONDO): Tokenized Assets Surpass $4 Billion
Ondo Finance is attracting attention after announcing that its tokenized real-world assets have surpassed $4 billion, making it the largest tokenization platform among the 203 platforms tracked by RWA.xyz.
The November 5 announcement reported that Ondo had 484 tokenized assets and more than 565,000 holders. Its products accounted for approximately 10% of the total value of non-stablecoin tokenized assets tracked by the platform.
Ondo's growth reflects increasing demand for blockchain-based exposure to traditional financial products. Its Ondo Global Markets platform allows eligible investors outside the United States to access tokenized versions of US stocks and exchange-traded funds.

The platform initially focused heavily on tokenized US Treasuries, but its product range has expanded toward equities and other financial instruments.
The latest milestone strengthens Ondo's position in the RWA sector. However, the $4 billion figure represents the value of assets tokenized through its platform, not the market capitalization of the ONDO cryptocurrency itself. Track the ONDO price data for the latest price action.
2. Chainlink (LINK): Building Infrastructure for 24/7 RWA Markets
Chainlink is strengthening its position in the RWA sector through new infrastructure designed to connect traditional financial markets with blockchain applications.
On October 29, Chainlink launched Chainlink 24/7, a pricing service that provides continuous market data for equities, commodities, and other real-world assets. Follow the Chainlink price trends on the Altcoin Buzz Markets page.
Traditional stock markets operate during fixed trading hours, while blockchain networks remain active throughout the week. This creates a challenge for tokenized assets because applications need reliable prices even when the underlying traditional markets are closed.
Chainlink 24/7 addresses this gap by combining data from regular market sessions with pricing information from multiple derivatives venues during off-hours. This allows supported blockchain applications to maintain continuous price references.
Aave is among the launch partners, using the service to price tokenized assets held as collateral within its institutional lending platform, Horizon.
Chainlink also made another institutional move in November. Together with Apex Group, T-REX Network, and the ERC-3643 Association, it demonstrated a compliance framework for tokenized bonds aligned with SWIFT standards. The framework combines identity and transfer rules with cross-chain infrastructure, allowing compliance requirements to be reused across supported blockchain networks.
These developments could help financial institutions issue and manage tokenized assets more efficiently. For LINK, the important question is whether growing infrastructure adoption translates into greater network usage and demand for the token.
3. Injective (INJ): Staked ETF Listing Adds Institutional Exposure
Injective recorded one of the strongest gains among major RWA-related cryptocurrencies, rising 8.7% to approximately $7.93 in the supplied market snapshot.
The move followed Nasdaq's approval of the listing of Canary Capital's Staked INJ ETF under the ticker INJC. Trading was scheduled to begin on November 5, giving traditional brokerage investors another route to gain exposure to Injective.
The fund plans to stake at least 90% of its INJ holdings under normal circumstances. Staking rewards are reflected in the fund's net asset value rather than distributed directly as cash to shareholders.
This development adds another institutional access point for INJ. It also connects Injective's blockchain ecosystem with the broader tokenization market, where financial products increasingly use blockchain infrastructure for issuance, trading, and settlement.
Altcoin Buzz previously covered the Nasdaq approval of Canary Capital's Staked INJ ETF, including the fund's proposed staking structure. Track Injective $INJ price action.
What Comes Next for RWA Cryptocurrencies?
The RWA sector's expansion is increasingly supported by developments beyond token prices. Ondo is demonstrating demand for tokenized financial products, Chainlink is building the data and compliance infrastructure needed to support them, and Injective is gaining another route into traditional investment markets.
These developments point toward a broader shift in how financial assets are issued, distributed, and traded.
However, institutional announcements and growing tokenized asset values do not automatically translate into higher prices for associated cryptocurrencies. Investors will need to monitor actual adoption, transaction activity, liquidity, and the economic value captured by each network.
For now, Ondo, Chainlink, and Injective remain three important projects to watch as the real-world asset sector continues to develop.
