TRON price is being assessed against a recent network upgrade and record stablecoin activity rather than a sharp market move. Kinzan quoted TRX at USD 0.3182 at 09:23 UTC on November 5, 2026, down 1.14 percent over the preceding 24 hours. Against the required comparison basis of USD 0.3193 at 00:00 UTC on November 5, the token was down 0.34 percent.
Proposal 108 changes TVM storage
TRON activated governance Proposal 108 after approval by the network's Super Representatives. According to crypto.news, the change took effect on November 2 and enabled network parameter 102, known as ALLOW_OPTIMIZE_TVM_STORAGE_KEY.
The update changes how the TRON Virtual Machine handles certain smart-contract storage operations. The same report said a subsequent network check recorded 26 approval addresses. The technical change is intended to improve the handling of storage keys and contract reliability; it does not directly change TRX supply, staking rewards or transaction fees.
Stablecoin use remains the core metric
A November 2 release carried by The Globe and Mail reported findings from Token Terminal's TRON Q3 2026 report. Average stablecoin supply reached a record USD 92.25 billion, while quarterly stablecoin transfer volume totaled USD 2.18 trillion. The report also put average USDT supply on TRON at USD 90.75 billion, or 49.49 percent of USDT across tracked blockchains.
The report recorded 1.08 billion transactions in the quarter and a quarterly average of 17.81 million monthly active users. It also said stablecoin holders reached a record 76.53 million. These figures describe network activity and adoption; they do not by themselves establish a future path for the TRX price.
TRX remains below recent highs
Kinzan's reading placed TRX near the bottom of its USD 0.31809 to USD 0.32136 24-hour range. Its daily history showed a November 3 close of USD 0.3214, while the November 5 00:00 UTC reading used for this report was USD 0.3193. The modest move from that basis does not meet the 5 percent threshold for making price movement the main headline.
For investors, the key question is whether the storage upgrade translates into sustained application activity while stablecoin settlement remains strong. Proposal 108 improves network infrastructure, but demand, market conditions and continued use of TRON's settlement rail will determine whether those fundamentals influence TRX.
