Cryptocurrency on-chain data revealed that two different solo miners on the Bitcoin network found a BTC block each today.
Today, two solo miners on the Bitcoin network reached the grand reward by finding blocks approximately seven hours apart. The total reward, including transaction fees, for the two blocks found via solo CKPool was approximately 6,276 BTC, which is equivalent to about $476,000.
Bitcoin developer Mononaut shared the development from his X account. Mempool records also confirm that both blocks were generated by Solo CK.
The first miner found block number 974,893 on the Bitcoin network at 07:51 Turkish time. This block, containing a total of 3,955 transactions, added approximately 0.0085 BTC in transaction fees to the base reward of 3.125 BTC. This increased the total block reward to approximately 3.1335 BTC, or over $237,000.
The second achievement came 6 hours and 50 minutes later. Block number 974,930, located at 14:41 Turkish time, contained 1,964 transactions. Approximately 0.0177 BTC in transaction fees were collected in this block, and together with the base reward, the total amount reached approximately 3.1427 BTC. This amount is equivalent to approximately $239,000.
In solo mining, unlike traditional pools, the reward for each block found is not shared among all participants. The miner who finds the block keeps the majority of the reward after the service interruption. Solo CKPool charges a 2% fee for the infrastructure it provides.
Therefore, the total of approximately $476,000 represents the reward for the two blocks prior to the service disruption.
