U.S.-listed spot Bitcoin (BTC) and Ether (ETH) ETFs drew $127.6 million Wednesday, Nov. 4, reversing recent net outflows as Bitcoin and U.S. stocks advanced after Democrats’ midterm victories.

Bitcoin funds received $74.6 million and Ether funds took in $53 million. The Bitcoin total followed three consecutive trading days of outflows worth $1.16 billion. Ether funds had lost $657 million over seven days before Wednesday’s inflow.

Bitcoin climbed above $80,000, while U.S. stocks advanced Wednesday. BlackRock’s iShares Bitcoin Trust (IBIT) went against the broader flow, losing $201.2 million. That extended its outflow streak to four sessions and brought withdrawals across those sessions to $935.2 million. Fidelity’s Wise Origin Bitcoin Fund (FBTC) led Bitcoin funds with roughly $237 million in inflows.

Wednesday’s inflow brought Bitcoin ETFs’ net outflows for 2026 to about $79 million. James Butterfill, head of research at CoinShares, said Bitcoin had largely priced in the possibility of a Democratic sweep before the election, leaving room for a rise as uncertainty eased. He cautioned against giving the election result too much credit for Bitcoin’s performance.

CK Zheng, co-founder of ZX Squared Capital and a former global head of risk at Credit Suisse, said liquidity, institutional flows and broader risk appetite were more immediate influences on Bitcoin’s price. Zheng added that ETF demand and corporate treasury holdings could widen the buyer base while exposing Bitcoin to institutional selling.
