The USDC price remained close to its intended dollar peg on November 4, 2026. Investing.com displayed USDC at USD 1.0013 at 09:45 Berlin time, with a quoted daily range of USD 1.0010 to USD 1.0015. The page showed a 24-hour volume of USD 12.51 billion, market capitalization of USD 70.61 billion and a rank of six. The displayed quote was an intraday reading; it was not presented as a verified UTC closing price for the previous day.
USDC is designed as a stablecoin rather than a conventional growth asset. Investing.com showed 70.62 billion USDC in circulation and a 52-week range of USD 0.9991 to USD 1.0023. Those figures indicate limited movement around the peg in the quoted data, rather than the type of price trend associated with an unpegged cryptocurrency.
Colombia pilot focuses on payment integration
A recent development for USDC is a collaboration announced on October 27 by ACI Worldwide and Circle. According to Circle Investor Relations, the initiative uses ACI Connetic and Circle's USDC infrastructure to demonstrate how financial institutions could incorporate stablecoin settlement into existing payment operations. The initial focus is Colombia, where ACI built infrastructure supporting Bre-B, the country's interoperable instant-payments ecosystem.
The companies describe the project as an evaluation of settlement alongside traditional payment rails, treasury operations, governance frameworks and existing processes. It is not presented as a broad production rollout. The announcement does not identify participating banks, transaction volumes or measured savings in settlement time or cost. For investors, the relevant question is therefore whether the pilot can progress from infrastructure demonstration to repeatable institutional use.
Reserve structure remains central
Circle's official USDC information says the token is redeemable one-to-one for US dollars and backed by highly liquid cash and cash-equivalent assets. Circle also says it publishes monthly reserve attestations by a Big Four accounting firm. These features are central to assessing a stablecoin: payment adoption can expand utility, but confidence in redemption and reserves remains fundamental to maintaining the peg.
