On-chain analytics firm Santiment counted 2,147 XRP wallets holding at least 1 million tokens, the highest total of 2026, after the group added 28 wallets in ten days. Eighteen of those wallets crossed the threshold in the final three days, and the count climbed while XRP fell 2.3% over the same stretch.

That mixture is the point: large balances building into a falling price, not out of a rally. Santiment reported the figure on November 3.

Key Facts

  • 2,147 XRP wallets held at least 1 million tokens, the highest count of 2026, per Santiment's November 3 report.
  • The group added 28 wallets in ten days, 18 of them in the last three.
  • That is about 0.03% of the roughly 8.3 million funded accounts on the XRP Ledger.
  • XRP fell 2.3% over the same ten days and is down about 30% so far in 2026.
  • Santiment said the increase does not confirm fresh buying.

A Wallet Count Is Not a Headcount

The metric tracks addresses that cross 1 million XRP, not people. An existing holder adding to a balance can push a wallet over the line, and exchange or pooled wallets can move the total without a single new buyer.

Santiment said the rise does not necessarily confirm fresh buying, and transfers between addresses can shift the count on their own. So 28 more wallets is not 28 more investors.

What the 2026 High Looks Like Next to the Ledger

The XRP Ledger had roughly 8.3 million funded accounts in early November 2026, which puts the million-token group at about 0.03% of accounts. Network activity rose too: Santiment counted 7,934 new XRP wallets created on November 1, the sixth-highest daily total of 2026.

The count is the highest of 2026 and the highest since December 2025. The August 2026 stretch offers one comparison: the group added 32 wallets over three months while XRP's market cap fell 29%. A full historical series for the metric is not available, so a fresh high is easier to state than to interpret.

The Levels Santiment Says Matter

Santiment said holding roughly $1.20 to $1.25 while the count stays above 2,140 would keep the longer-term setup constructive. A reclaim of $1.30, then $1.40, with large-wallet numbers still rising, would "provide much stronger confirmation that accumulation is confirming every price rise," the firm said.

The count already sits above 2,140, so the first condition holds. The second rests on price. Santiment called the wallet growth "encouraging" against XRP's weakness, noting that large holders tend to hold longer than short-term traders.

The open question is whether the 28 additions were new buyers or existing wallets growing larger. Wallet counts alone cannot settle that.
