YieldMax set the next weekly payout for the YieldMax Bitcoin Option Income Strategy ETF (YBIT) at $0.1489 per share on Wednesday, Nov. 4, 5.46% below the fund’s previous distribution.
The prior $0.1575 distribution was declared Oct. 28. YBIT’s distribution rate was 40.42% as of the Tuesday, Nov. 3, market close (ET). The rate annualizes the latest per-share distribution and divides it by the fund’s most recent net asset value (NAV); it is not a forecast or a measure of total return.
YBIT’s 30-day SEC yield was 2.49% for the period ended Saturday, Oct. 31. The measure excludes option income.
YBIT is actively managed and seeks weekly income through sales of call spreads on U.S.-listed exchange-traded products with exposure to Bitcoin (BTC). The strategy may limit gains when those products rise, while leaving the fund exposed to losses if they fall.
A distribution may include ordinary dividends, capital gains or a return of investor capital, which can reduce the fund’s NAV. The distribution’s final tax character will be determined on Form 1099-DIV. YieldMax ETFs stated, “Distributions are not guaranteed.”
The $0.1489 distribution is payable Friday, Nov. 6, to shareholders of record Thursday, Nov. 5. Thursday is also the ex-distribution date.
