SEC Staff View Canton Coin (CC) as a Digital Commodity
Staff at the US Securities and Exchange Commission said on 3 November that they view Canton Coin (CC) as a "digital commodity". In a no-action letter , the Division of Corporation Finance's Office of Chief Counsel wrote: "In reliance on the representations provided in your letter, the Division is of the view that Canton Coin is a 'digital commodity,' as that term is described in the Interpretation."
