Binance has removed API keys linked to SignalPlus, describing the move as a precaution after a reported security issue at the Hong Kong-based trading tools platform.
What happened
The action targets the connection between Binance accounts and SignalPlus. It does not appear to target anyone’s funds directly.
SignalPlus users connect their exchange accounts to the platform using these keys. That access lets them trade spot, futures, and options through SignalPlus tools while their assets stay on the exchange.
Removing the keys cuts that link. Any automated strategy running through SignalPlus on Binance would stop working until users set up a fresh connection.
Binance’s terms allow the exchange to suspend API keys when security concerns come up. The exchange also tells users to delete compromised keys right away, and it effectively did that on their behalf here.
So far there has been no significant market disruption or price impact tied to the revocation.
Who is SignalPlus
SignalPlus is a fintech company founded in 2021 and based in Hong Kong. It builds AI-enabled trading tools for digital assets.

Its product lineup includes options pricing, analytics, automated market-making robots, and execution algorithms.
The company has raised $73M across several funding rounds. The most recent was a $50M Series B in 2026.
SignalPlus integrates with multiple exchanges, and Binance is one of them. Its own documentation walks users through creating Binance API keys step by step.
Those tutorials recommend IP whitelisting along with trading permissions. Whitelisting means a key only works when requests come from approved internet addresses.
The company has also highlighted its security credentials. SignalPlus holds ISO/IEC 27001 and SOC 2 certifications and received an A+ rating in penetration testing.
What this means
For SignalPlus users, the immediate cost is operational. Automated strategies on Binance would need new keys before they could run again. Anyone who reconnects will likely want to check what permissions those keys carry and whether whitelisting is turned on.
For SignalPlus, this is a test of the credentials it has promoted. The company raised its $50M Series B this year partly on the strength of its tooling.
What to watch next: whether SignalPlus publishes an account of the incident, whether other exchanges take similar steps, and how quickly Binance users can reconnect.
