Just about a week after Binance's founder Changpeng Zhao's brief banter with Elon Musk over his unsettling humor about Binance's recent $6 billion attack, another rumor about Musk's comment on the exchange surfaced again.

While the claims had come amid growing speculation about Elon Musk making peace with CZ, the post had immediately gone viral, receiving mixed reactions from the crypto community.

Did Elon Musk question Binance's dominance?

While the post claimed that billionaire entrepreneur Elon Musk criticized Binance for its dominance in the crypto market, CZ dismissed the claims, calling out the poster for spreading misleading information.

Notably, the post claimed that Musk had questioned Binance's alleged 80% market share, arguing that its dominance was limiting competition within the crypto industry.

Moreover, the poster added that Musk had advised crypto users to move their funds to alternative exchanges to encourage competition, suggesting that such a move could potentially create the opportunity for another bull run.

Nonetheless, CZ debunked the information, declaring it false while issuing a subtle warning to the poster about spreading information that is not true.

CZ uses AI as proof

After CZ declared the information to be false, he further backed his response with proof from an AI search, which clearly showed the falseness of the claims.

Notably, CZ shared a screenshot of the AI search result that disputed the alleged comments, stating that no original post from Musk could be found supporting the claims about Binance's 80% market share.

It also mentioned that Elon Musk did not encourage users to move their funds to competing exchanges either.

Elon Musk joins CZ to shut down false claim

A few hours after CZ dismissed the false claims, Elon Musk also joined in, testifying that he never said any of the things mentioned in the post.

As proven by CZ's AI search, Musk acknowledged that the post was fabricated, backing CZ's response.
