JTX, the professional trading terminal built by Jito Labs, has rolled out JTX Equities. The upgrade brings request-for-quote execution to more than 1,650 tokenized stocks on Solana.
What JTX Equities actually does
The headline feature is RFQ, short for request for quote. Technically, an RFQ system asks liquidity providers to quote a specific price for a specific trade size before execution. The trader sees the price first, then decides. That is different from routing through an automated market maker, where large orders eat through the pool and push the price against the buyer.
According to Solana Floor, RFQ on JTX supports swaps of up to $1M with minimal slippage. Slippage is the gap between the price you expect and the price you get, and on thin onchain books it can quietly turn a good trade into a mediocre one.
The pricing comes directly from tokenized stock issuers, including Backpack, Ondo, and xStocks, according to the research findings. Real-time exchange price feeds sit alongside those quotes.
The coverage spans more than 1,650 tokenized equities, covering both US and international stocks. The feature went live on or around November 5, 2026.
JTX also bolted on analytics and discovery tools. These include earnings catalysts and options flow indicators, the kind of data a traditional equities trader would expect on a Bloomberg screen, now surfaced inside a crypto terminal.

Solana Floor described the release as the terminal’s biggest update since launch. The outlet also reported that JTX has the highest average volume per user of any onchain terminal.
From token terminal to stock desk
JTX made its public debut in July 2026. At launch, it focused on spot trading for crypto tokens such as SOL and cbBTC.
That first version shipped with tools aimed at professionals, including conditional orders, resting limits, and automated executions. What it lacked was a dedicated equities product.
An October 2026 roadmap signaled rising interest in equities, according to the research findings. Jito Foundation President Brian Smith had also hinted that further enhancements to JTX were on the way.
The broader backdrop matters too. Trading volume for tokenized equities on Solana surged to approximately $5.77 billion in Q2 2026, per the research findings. Solana Floor framed JTX Equities as a move that could further extend Solana’s lead over rival chains in the tokenized equity race.
The JTO angle
There is a token economics story running underneath the product launch. Under the JIP-38 revenue model, 80% of all trading fees generated on JTX flow to the Jito DAO.
The DAO uses that revenue for market buybacks and burns of JTO, the Jito governance token. The remaining 20% goes to referrers.
