reUSD is now live on Monad, expanding access to Re’s reinsurance-linked yield product beyond Ethereum. Users can bridge reUSD from Ethereum mainnet to Monad through Chainlink CCIP, while markets are also active on Morpho and Pendle. The launch gives eligible users another route to access tokenized reinsurance exposure through a multichain DeFi setup, extending the use case for real-world asset tokenization.
On Monad, users can buy PT-reUSD on Pendle and supply it as collateral on Morpho to borrow USDC. YT-reUSD holders currently earn 30x Re Points plus an additional 0.54% APR in MON on top of reUSD’s roughly 7% yield, with the MON incentive designed to rise toward 0.75% as the pool grows. Re states that yields are variable and not guaranteed.
The rollout broadens reUSD’s presence across DeFi while keeping the product tied to real-world reinsurance activity rather than crypto-native market returns. Access is limited to eligible non-U.S. persons in permitted jurisdictions and is subject to KYC, AML and sanctions screening. The next metric to watch is adoption on Monad, including liquidity growth across Pendle and Morpho and usage of the Ethereum-to-Monad bridge.
