Samsung Wallet now lets eligible Galaxy users in the US buy, hold, send, and receive USDC without needing a separate crypto app. The new feature, called Stablecoin Account, brings digital currency into the same app people already use for payment cards, boarding passes, and IDs.
Samsung Wallet adds USDC support on 82 million Galaxy devices
The feature is now live across roughly 82 million compatible Galaxy devices in the US. USDC is a stablecoin designed to maintain a value of $1, while all transfers through Samsung Wallet settle on the Solana blockchain.

Samsung first announced Stablecoin Account last month. Beginning today, users can send USDC to other Samsung Wallet users in the US or compatible external crypto wallets. Samsung won’t charge a transfer fee, although other providers may still apply their own charges.

The feature also supports international transfers. Eligible users can send money to qualifying bank accounts in more than 60 countries, where recipients may receive funds in their local currency.
Users don’t need to manage private keys themselves, which removes one of the more technical aspects of using a crypto wallet. The integration also gives Solana access to Samsung’s large Galaxy user base, potentially introducing stablecoins to people who don’t regularly use crypto apps.
