Stripe has opened a public preview that lets U.S. businesses send stablecoin payouts to recipients’ external wallets in more than 160 markets.

The Global Payouts feature supports USD Coin (USDC) and Open USD (OUSD). Businesses can fund transfers from USD or USDC balances in Stripe Treasury, with Stripe handling conversions. Transfers typically arrive within minutes over supported blockchain networks.

USDC payouts are available on Arbitrum, Avalanche, Ethereum and additional networks. OUSD transfers are supported on Base and Ethereum. New York-based businesses cannot access the preview yet, but may join a waitlist.

The wallet option expands Stripe’s payout services alongside bank payouts introduced in late October, which convert stablecoins into local fiat across nine currencies. Stripe also accepts stablecoin payments that settle in fiat and offers Treasury balances for businesses to hold and move stablecoins.

By the end of September, OUSD had become a default option across Stripe’s financial products, following its rollout as a stablecoin for business users.
