The altcoin network, once a popular platform, has officially shut down. Here's what you need to know.

Ethereum’s second-layer network, Blast, officially announced the end of its operations today. The team stated that the recovery system for users with remaining assets on the network will remain open for one year.

According to Blast’s statement via X, those with ETH or dollar balances in second-tier wallets, incomplete withdrawal transactions, and Blast Mobile users will be able to retrieve their assets through the official website.

The recovery site’s final support date has been set as November 4, 2027. This marks a 12-month period during which users can access their balances after the network shuts down.

Blast’s recovery interface covers ETH, WETH, and USDB balances. Transactions initiated for withdrawal to Ethereum but not completed are also automatically added to the address’s entitlement.

Users can check which assets they are eligible to claim by querying their wallet addresses. Recovery processes are carried out via smart contracts on the Ethereum mainnet.

The process for Blast Mobile is different. The official guidelines state that the mobile wallet does not exist on Ethereum with the same address and that the wallet needs to be transferred to a compatible application. The team requests that only official channels be used during the recovery process.
