XRP price has already crashed roughly 10% since a trader called for a move toward $0.99, but the more interesting part of the setup may be what some of the most profitable wallets are doing now.
Santiment data shared through Score Arena shows that only one of the top-performing XRP wallets is currently positioned long, and that wallet has not traded since August.
Meanwhile, three active short wallets have added roughly 2.1 million XRP to their bearish positions since late October.
That means the traders already positioned for downside have not used the recent drop as an opportunity to exit.
They are still pressing the trade.
What you'll learn đ
The $0.99 XRP Call Is Working So Far
The original bearish call targeted approximately $0.99, with the idea considered invalid if XRP closes above $1.36.
Since that prediction was made, XRP has fallen around 10%.
That is enough to make the call look good so far, but Santiment makes an important point: the entire crypto market also sold off during the same period.
Bitcoin, Ethereum and other large-cap assets have all been under heavy pressure.
So it is impossible to say that the the XRP price call was purely the result of superior token-specific analysis.
Part of the move may simply have come from being bearish at the right moment.
A trader called $XRP lower, to ~$0.99, and said the call is wrong if XRP closes above $1.36. XRP is down ~10% since. Called it, or lucky timing? The whole market dropped too. đ Among the most profitable XRP wallets, only one is long, and it hasnât traded since August. Three active shorts have added ~2.1M XRP since late October. đ XRP still needs another ~17% drop to hit the callâs target, so this one isnât settled. đŻ On Score, all 3 traders who went against the call are underwater for now. The prediction window closes in under 2 days, and the market resolves Nov 19. Whatâs your take? Still, the trade is moving in the predicted direction.
And XRP remains approximately 17% above the $0.99 target, meaning the call is far from fully resolved.
Profitable XRP Wallets Are Still Positioned Bearish
This is where the positioning data becomes more useful.
Santiment says three active short wallets among the most profitable tracked XRP accounts have added roughly 2.1 million XRP to their positions since late October.
That is notable because these traders could have reduced exposure after the initial decline.
Instead, they added.
At the same time, the only profitable wallet positioned long has apparently made no new trade since August.
That creates a clear imbalance in recent activity.
It does not guarantee another drop, but the traders making fresh decisions are currently leaning bearish.
All three Score Arena traders who took the opposite side of the $0.99 prediction are also underwater for now.
Why $1.00 Is Becoming More Important
XRP has already lost several support areas during the latest decline.
That brings the psychological $1.00 level much closer.
A move toward $0.99 would not just complete the traderâs prediction. It would also push XRP into a price area that has repeatedly appeared in recent technical setups as potential support.
CasiTrades, for example, has been watching the broader $1.09-$1.10 region as a possible Wave 2 completion zone.
If that support fails, a move below $1 becomes much easier to imagine.
That makes the next reaction around $1.10 especially important.
A strong bounce there could stop the bearish $0.99 call just short of its target.
Continued selling through that zone would put the XRP price prediction within striking distance.
XRP Price Prediction Still Has a Clear Invalidation Level
One useful part of the original call is that it comes with a specific point where the thesis stops working.
That level is $1.36 on a closing basis.
XRP reclaiming that area would represent a major reversal from current conditions and would force bearish traders to reconsider the setup.
Until then, the short side remains in control.
The interesting part now is not that XRP has already dropped 10%.
It is that some of the most profitable tracked wallets still appear to believe there is more downside left.
With roughly 17% still separating XRP from $0.99, the next move around $1.10 may decide if this prediction becomes an impressive call or simply a well-timed bearish trade during a broader market selloff.
